Lessons From Competition Day
Nerves, snacks, and the underrated skill of resetting between matches.

Competition day is loud, bright, and full of small decisions that add up. My best matches almost always followed the same simple habits: eat something real, keep the pit organized, and reset my head between rounds.
When something broke, I tried to fix the process, not just the part. A loose screw usually meant a rushed pre-check. A missed autonomous usually meant an untested edit.
Winning matches was fun. Building habits that survived the chaos was the real trophy.
