Learning To Code With Purpose

I learned more from a tiny script that timed our tutoring sessions than from any long tutorial series. Real users, even three of them, create real feedback.

I started asking a simple question before writing anything new: who is this for, and what will change for them. If I could not answer both, I closed the editor and went to sketch on paper first.

Purpose turned coding from a homework subject into a tool. Tools stay useful long after the tutorial ends.
